Things to read & keep

A small library of printed things we are happy to send.

Application notes, the short history pamphlet, our policy documents, and the archived Letters from Bardney. Most can be read online; printed copies are posted free of charge to anyone living in the four parishes who would like one.

How the printed copies work.

The Kitchings General Charity has, since 1972, kept a small stock of printed pamphlets and policy documents in a wooden filing drawer in the vestry. We post them, free of charge, to anyone in the four parishes who writes for a copy. We send them to others on request and ask only that they cover the postage if they can. The trustees are not in a hurry to digitise the lot, partly because the printed reading list is itself a small piece of the trust's character.

That said, every document is also available as a digital download from this page. Each download will arrive as a plain-text version in this build, while we work on properly typeset PDFs over the coming year. If you would prefer the printed copy in a hand-addressed envelope, write to us at the Old Vestry or email [email protected].
